Results correspond to causes

The activity of the Buddha for the benefit of sentient beings is the result of his cultivation of compassion on the path to enlightenment. If the Buddha had cultivated anger, the result would be the creation of wars or of sufferings for sentient beings. However, on the path of training, he cultivated a great amount of compassion. The result is his compassionate activity for others.
